Construction Contract Awarded for Northwest Transmission Line Vancouver -- BC Hydro has chosen a contractor to design and build the Northwest Transmission Line (NTL). The successful companies are Valard Construction, a Quanta Services company (NYSE: PWR), and Burns & McDonnell. Ministry of Environment Announces Northwest Transmission Line Project Approved

VICTORIA -- British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro) has received an environmental assessment certificate for the proposed Northwest Transmission Line project. Northwest Power Line Preliminary Findings Released

SMITHERS, B.C. - The Northwest Power Line Coalition released preliminary findings today of a study on the potential benefits of a power line along Highway 37 in northwest British Columbia.
