Hard Creek Nickel Corp. (Frankfurt WKN: A0B6ST; TSX-Symbol: HNC) entwickelt sein Haupt-Asset, das Turnagain-Projekt, eine riesige Nickel-Sulfid-Lagerstätte im zentralen Norden von British Columbia in Kanada. Der "Preliminary Assessment Report" vom April 2010, der von Wardrop verfasst wurde (ein TetraTech Unternehmen), schätzt die kalkulierten Ressourcen der Kategorie "measured & indicated" auf insgesamt 695.012.000 Tonnen Erz mit durchschnittlich 0,216% Nickel und 0,014% Kobalt, sowie zusätzliche 510.818.000 Tonnen Erz mit einer Durchschnittsmineralisierung von 0,199% Nickel und 0,014% Kobalt in der "inferred" Ressourcen-Kategorie. Eine vorläufige Beurteilung ("Preliminary Assessment") wurde im April 2010 bekannt gegeben und antizipiert eine Produktion von 35.000 Tonnen (77 Mio. Pfund) Nickel pro Jahr -- zu Cash-Kosten von U.S. $3,30 pro Pfund (inklusive Nebenprodukt-Aufschläge) während einer Minen-Laufzeit von 24,4 Jahren. Das aktuelle Arbeitsprogramm beinhaltet Metallurgie- & Ingenieurs-Untersuchungen, sowie grundlegende Umwelt-Studien.
